This wine honors the Great Egret. These magnificent birds were hunted to near extinction in North America during the late 1800s and early 1900s for their pure white plumes. Populations have recovered since they were protected by law. The Great Egret is now the symbol of the National Audubon Society.

Egret Chardonnay is produced by Bonneau Winery from grapes grown in the heart of Los Carneros. The wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel for 10 months. The lees were stirred to enhance flavor and richness. This wine shows the full varietal character of the Chardonnay from this appellation. It expresses bright fruit flavors and aromas leading to a clean, refreshing, crisp finish.

Please enjoy this wine with creamy cheeses, light pastas, shellfish and poultry. We welcome your comments at (800) 996-0420.
